Holger Rune Tennis writes about a professional athlete, so accuracy is at the heart of what we do. This page explains where our information comes from, how we check it, how often our data is updated and what we do when we get something wrong. It applies to every page on the site, including predictions and betting pages.
Sources: official data first
Results, rankings, win-loss records, titles and prize money are checked against official sources: the ATP Tour and the tournaments' own websites. Match data and live scores are supplemented with data from ESPN. Background, quotes and news rely on established Danish media such as DR, TV 2, B.T. and Ekstra Bladet – always attributed, for example "according to B.T.".
When sources disagree on a date, a score or a count, we follow the official record. If a claim cannot be confirmed, we leave it out or make clear who is behind it. We do not publish quotes we cannot trace to a source.
Automatic data updates
Our own server fetches data from the ATP and ESPN automatically several times a day. Rankings, the latest result, the next tournament and the schedule are therefore updated continuously, and changing figures carry a date. The official ATP rankings are normally published on Mondays; unofficial "live" rankings are never presented as official. Times are given in Danish time (CET/CEST).
Automation can fail, and tournaments can change their schedule at short notice. If something matters to you, check the official source as well.
Private life: only what is publicly known
On Holger Rune's family, relationships and health we only report what he, his family or reputable media have said publicly. We publish no rumours, speculation or gossip, and never addresses or other private details. Where a topic is widely searched but has no factual basis, we say exactly that.
Corrections policy
If we make a mistake, we correct it as quickly as possible on every page where it appears, starting with significant errors such as a wrong score, date or ranking. If you spot an error, please tell us via our contact page, ideally with a link to an official source. We read every report.
Advertising and editorial content are separate
The site is funded by advertising and affiliate links to bookmakers licensed in Denmark. Ads are labelled and kept visually separate from articles. Advertisers and partners have no influence on what we write, which results we report or how our prediction model works. Predictions are statistical estimates – not tips and never a guarantee.
