The curve follows his results. In 2019 and 2020 he played mostly junior events and small Futures and Challenger tournaments with modest prizes. The 2022 breakthrough – three titles including the Paris Masters – brought a jump of several million dollars. 2023 was his best season financially: two Masters 1000 finals, two Grand Slam quarterfinals and a place at the ATP Finals made him No. 8 on the ATP money list that year. 2024 and 2025 stayed at a high level before the Achilles injury left him with almost no prize money in 2026, all of it from first-round defeats in Tokyo and Shanghai.

Biggest paydays: the events that paid the most

According to the ATP's tournament data, these single events gave Rune his biggest prizes, shown in the currency each tournament pays in.

Holger Rune's biggest single-event prizes
EventResultPrize
Paris Masters 2022Champion€836,355
ATP Finals 2023Round robin (1 win)$715,500
Indian Wells 2025Final$638,750
Rome 2023Final€580,000
Barcelona 2025Champion€535,185
Monte-Carlo 2023Final€487,420

The 2022 Paris Masters title is still his biggest single prize. A lost Masters 1000 final such as Indian Wells or Rome can pay more than an ATP 500 title like Barcelona, because prize money depends on the size of the event. His 2023 quarterfinals at Wimbledon and Roland Garros paid £340,000 and €400,000 respectively, and in 2023 he also received $782,945 from the ATP's Masters 1000 bonus pool. All titles and finals are on the Holger Rune titles page.

What does Holger Rune earn beyond prize money?

Sponsorship is the other big income source for a top player. These partnerships are public:

  • Rolex: he is part of the Rolex family of tennis ambassadors; Rolex is also the title sponsor of the Paris Masters he won in 2022.
  • Nike: clothing and shoes. He denied rumours of a split in August 2024, and no split has been reported since.
  • Wilson: a Wilson ambassador since July 2026, playing a racket from the Defyer line. According to B.T. it is a five-year contract; the value has not been confirmed.

Until the end of 2025 he played with Babolat, whose deal then expired. More on the Holger Rune racket and gear page. Neither Rune nor his sponsors have disclosed what the deals are worth; only media estimates exist, and we do not present them as fact.

Holger Rune net worth

There is no reliable figure for Holger Rune's net worth. Forbes and other reputable outlets have not published an estimate, and the numbers circulating online are not backed by any documentation, so we do not quote one. What the injury means for his earnings

As of 23 October 2026 he has played only two ATP events this year, and his 2026 prize money is $42,605 (as of 24 October 2026). Tennis pays by results, so a player earns nothing from tournaments while injured – although even a first-round defeat pays: Tokyo brought him $18,270 and Shanghai $24,335 in October 2026, according to the ATP. His protected ranking gets him straight into big events with bigger prizes; how that works is explained on the Holger Rune ranking page.
